Pakistan violates ceasefire along IB in Jammu & Kashmir

Pakistani Rangers fired mortars shells and used small arms to target Border outposts. BSF troops effectively retaliated to the Pakistani firing.

Three persons were injured in Arnia while one policeman injured in RS Pura Sector of Jammu.

Schools around five kilometer radius have been closed for security. Residents of Arnia sector along LoC have started migrating to safer places as Pakistan continues to violate ceasefire.

Pakistani Rangers had on Sunday morning called up BSF formations and pleaded to stop retaliatory fire after India inflicted heavy damage to Pakistani side for starting unprovoked firing.

Slamming Pakistan over ceasefire in the month of Ramadan, MoS PMO Jitendra Singh said those who are indulging in firing from across the border have proved to the entire world that they have the least of faith in Ramzan, Islam & Holy Quran. He further said that security forces are giving befitting reply to Pakistani rangers.
