Udaipur, 18 July 2025: Pacific University commenced the new academic session for first-year BBA and B.Com students under the Faculty of Commerce with an informative and engaging orientation program. The session began with a warm welcome by alumni, setting a positive tone for the journey ahead.

Speaking at the event, Prof. Hemant Kothari, President of Pacific University, highlighted that the curriculum is aligned with the New National Education Policy (NEP), offering a wide range of career-focused study options such as Global Business Management, Financial Markets, Entrepreneurship Development, Digital Marketing, and Data Analytics. He also emphasized the institution’s strong focus on skill development, internships, and placements.
At the Pacific Institute of Business Studies, students of BBA, B.Com, and M.Com were introduced to the institute’s academic structure, examination system, book bank services, as well as extracurricular opportunities like sports and hobby clubs.
Principal Dr. Anurag Mehta informed students about four educational clubs running at the institute:

These clubs help students apply theoretical concepts practically, making learning both effective and enjoyable.
To foster a sense of culture and creativity, students can also participate in the Indian Cohesive Cultural Club and the Creative Club. For sports enthusiasts, Usha Sports Club (outdoor) and Anand Sports Club (indoor) provide regular encouragement and support.
The orientation saw high enthusiasm among new students, who expressed excitement about the university’s facilities, academic offerings, and vibrant campus life.
