Udaipur, October 30 (Udaipur Kiran) — The Faculty of Education at Pacific University inaugurated its two-day orientation programme for B.P.Ed and M.P.Ed (Session 2025–26) students today. The event began with a warm welcome address by Dr. Hemant Pandya, Principal, College of Physical Education, who greeted all the distinguished guests and participants
The chief guest, Prof. Hemant Kothari, President of PAHER University, motivated the students to lead a disciplined life and set clear goals to achieve success. He emphasized the vital role of teachers in shaping society and contributing to the nation’s development.
Prof. Dilendra Hiran, Chairman, Faculty of Science and Technology, highlighted the teacher’s role as a guiding light who leads students from darkness to knowledge, inspiring them with energy and purpose.
Dr. T.P. Ameta, Director, Pacific College of Social Science and Humanities, encouraged students by citing the teachings of Swami Vivekananda, stressing the importance of self-belief and perseverance.
Continuing the session, Dr. Kapilesh Tiwari, Principal, Pacific College of Teachers Education, reflected on the pivotal role of teachers in shaping students’ personalities, describing teachers as “soft from within yet firm from outside,” a balance necessary to build strong, capable learners.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Neelam Yadav, while the programme was efficiently conducted by Dr. Jayshree Mandovra. The event saw the presence of faculty members from across the Education Department, marking a successful beginning to the new academic session.
