Srinagar, March 26 : The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Saturday filed a chargesheet in a Special court in Jammu, against a Pakistani militant of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) who was arrested while trying to infiltrate to Kashmir last year, the anti terror agency said. The chargesheet was produced against Imdadullah alias Ali Babar alias Dujana of village 45 Shakurabad Punjab Pakistan under Sections 120B, 121, 121A, 122, 307, 326, 333 and 353 of Indian Penal Code, sections 16, 18, 20, 23 and 38 of UA(P) Act, section 27 of Arms Act, sections 3, 4 and 5 of Explosive Substances Act and section 14-A (b) of Foreigners Act. The case was initially registered at Police Station Uri of District Baramulla on September 27, 2021 and NIA had re-registered the case on October 30, 2021. The case pertains to an infiltration bid foiled by the Indian Army along the Line of Control in Uri sector Baramulla in September last year. “During the infiltration bid thwarted by Indian Army, one Pakistani terrorist namely Imdadullah was arrested and his associate namely Atiq-ur-Rehman alias Qari Anas was killed. A huge cache of arms/amm tions, explosives and other incriminating materials were recovered from the possession of the Pakistani terrorists of LeT,” NIA said about the case.
