Udaipur, May 7 (Udaipur Kiran): Tourists visiting Udaipur will now be able to enjoy night views of the city, lakes and surrounding hills as the timings of the Neemach Mata Temple Ropeway have been extended till 10 pm.
The decision has been taken to improve tourist convenience and promote tourism activities during evening hours. Visitors can now experience ropeway rides at night and witness the illuminated cityscape from above.
During the ride, tourists will be able to enjoy night views of Fateh Sagar Lake and nearby areas. The lit-up city, cool breeze and peaceful atmosphere are expected to offer visitors a memorable experience.
The ropeway management has also introduced online ticket booking facilities along with ticket counters to make the process easier for tourists.
According to the tourism department and ropeway management, the main objective of this initiative is to keep tourism activities active beyond daytime hours. Officials believe the move will also benefit hotels and local businesses by increasing tourist stay in the city and strengthening the local economy.
