Udaipur, June 11, 2025 – Udaipur MP Dr. Mannalal Ravat has written a formal letter to Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, requesting that the 2021 Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment examination not be cancelled. Dr. Ravat has emphasized the protection of interests of honest and deserving candidates who cleared the exam on merit despite the widespread paper leak scandal that rocked the recruitment process during the previous Congress-led government.

Letter Emphasizes Protection for Honest Candidates
In the letter, Dr. Ravat praised the current BJP-led state government’s decisive action in exposing and addressing the exam scam. He pointed out that over 100 accused individuals, including more than 50 trainee SIs, have been arrested under strong legal proceedings. He added that the state’s crackdown on culprits has significantly boosted public trust in the government’s integrity and governance.
Action Taken Against Guilty, Not the Innocent
Dr. Ravat stated that while legal action is ongoing against those who were fraudulently selected, many of the genuinely meritorious candidates – particularly from poor or underprivileged backgrounds – are being unfairly threatened by calls to cancel the entire recruitment. These candidates have been serving in government roles for nearly two years now, and a blanket cancellation would jeopardize their careers, families, and mental well-being.
He further noted that the demand to annul the exam is being driven by politically motivated groups and does not reflect the will of the public or the spirit of justice.
Appeal to Uphold Justice and Fairness
The MP appealed to Chief Minister Sharma to uphold the government’s commitment to justice by continuing tough legal action against the culprits while ensuring that honest, hardworking, and innocent candidates are not penalized. “Cancelling the entire exam would send a disheartening message to youth who still believe in integrity and merit,” Dr. Ravat wrote.
He concluded by urging the government to strike a balance between punishing wrongdoing and protecting the rightful future of honest candidates, calling it a reflection of a sensitive and people-centric administration.
