Udaipur, June 11, 2025 – In a tribute to the indomitable spirit and valor of Maharana Pratap, the 450th anniversary of the legendary Battle of Haldighati is being commemorated with a grand and spiritually uplifting celebration at the historic Haldighati battlefield. Organized by the Haldighati Yajna Committee, the event aims to rekindle the timeless tale of bravery and patriotism that continues to inspire generations.

Divine Yajna Ceremony to Begin the Celebrations
According to Ashok Purohit, Treasurer of the Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap Committee, the day will commence with a sacred yajna ceremony at dawn. Offerings will be made with prayers dedicated to national welfare, public well-being, and the remembrance of heroic legacies. The ritual is intended to evoke spiritual strength and collective resolve in honoring Maharana Pratap’s monumental victory.
Symbolic Victory Procession Through Historic Routes
Chandragupt Singh Chauhan, Vice President of the organizing committee, shared that following the yajna, a symbolic victory procession will be launched carrying sacred yajna ash and the revered soil of Haldighati. The journey is designed to carry Maharana Pratap’s legacy to the masses, rekindling pride in India’s heroic history.
The vibrant procession will commence from the Haldighati victory site and pass through prominent villages and urban locations including Balicha, Losing, Kadiyan, Iswal, Kavita, Thoor, Chikalwas, Loyra, Badgaon, Syphon Chauraha, Fatehpura, Sukhadia Circle, Shastri Circle, Delhi Gate, Surajpole, Gulab Bagh, Samor Bagh, Jagdish Chowk, Ghantaghar, Hathipole, Chetak Circle, and Saheliyon Ki Bari, culminating at the Pratap Gaurav Kendra.
Strategic Planning and Community Participation
A preparatory review of all key heritage locations such as the Chetak Samadhi, Haldighati Pass, Rakt Talai, and the battlefield itself was conducted. A planning meeting was held with the presence of key dignitaries including District Deputy Chief Pushkar Teli, Ranveer Singh Jolawas, Madan Singh Parmar, Sohan Singh Chadana, Gopal Mali, Shankar Singh Chadana, and social worker Basanti Lal Lodha.
