Udaipur, March 5, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): With the arrival of Holi, winter has completely receded from the city as rising temperatures signal the onset of summer.

On Wednesday, the daytime temperature increased by 1.3 degrees to reach 35.2°C. Meanwhile, the night temperature recorded a slight drop of 0.2 degrees and settled at 15.4°C.
Weather expert Dr. R.S. Devda said that due to the impact of an active western disturbance over the north-west Himalayan region, there is a possibility of rainfall and snowfall around March 8. Light cloud cover may be seen in northern Rajasthan.
He further stated that most districts of the state are likely to witness above-normal maximum temperatures in March, indicating a stronger heat impact this season.
