Udaipur, March 5 (Udaipur Kiran): The 27th Foundation Day of MDS School was celebrated with great enthusiasm, joy and dignity on the school campus. On this special occasion, the premises were beautifully decorated with colourful flags and attractive rangoli designs, creating a festive atmosphere. The presence of teachers and parents added further warmth and liveliness to the celebration.
The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp before Goddess Saraswati by the chief guests, school trustee Dr. Ramesh Chandra Somani and Mrs. Pushpa Somani, along with school director Dr. Shailendra Somani and special guest Dr. Abdul Hamid. After welcoming the guests, the formal proceedings of the event commenced.
On the occasion, teachers presented several inspiring cultural performances. The programme started with the school anthem, where all the teachers expressed their feelings and unity towards the institution with great enthusiasm. This was followed by a melodious group song that captivated the audience.
During the event, a teacher from MDS Kids World presented an attractive dance performance, which received appreciation from the audience. Later, a teacher delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the importance of education, discipline and a bright future for students. The speech also mentioned the academic achievements and excellent results of the school.
Continuing the programme, another teacher presented a powerful and emotional recitation of a poem that moved the audience. Through the poem, a strong message about education, values and life principles was conveyed.
In his address towards the end of the event, school director Dr. Shailendra Somani spoke about the school’s progress, development and achievements since its establishment. He said that through continuous hard work, discipline and quality education, the institution has reached new heights of success. He also mentioned that the school has been delivering excellent results in national-level examinations such as IIT and NEET every year. In 2013, Palak Jain secured All India Rank 28 and Yash Gupta achieved Rank 163, while in 2014 Khushal Babel secured Rank 27. In 2017, Kalpit Veerwal brought national recognition to the school by securing All India Rank 1 in JEE Main.
He congratulated all teachers for their dedication and hard work and encouraged them to continue working with the same commitment and positive approach in the future.
