Strong Customer Response for Mahindra’s sub-compact SUV XUV 3XO
Mahindra & Mahindra’s sub-compact SUV, the XUV 3XO, has garnered a strong response from customers. In its first month post-launch, sales have exceeded 10,000 units. The company commenced deliveries on May 26th, making the XUV 3XO one of the fastest SUVs to reach the 10,000 units sales milestone.

Competitive Pricing and High Initial Sales
The starting price of the XUV 3XO is ₹7.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Last month, Mahindra began delivering the entry-level M1, MX2, and MX2 Pro variants. Deliveries for the remaining variants started this month, potentially boosting the XUV 3XO’s sales further. Bookings for the XUV 3XO opened on May 15th, and it received over 50,000 bookings within an hour. The SUV is available in nine variants, with a higher demand for the petrol versions. Competitors include Maruti Suzuki’s Brezza, Hyundai’s Venue, and Kia’s Sonet.
Unique Features and Powerful Engine Options
For the first time in this segment, Mahindra has introduced a panoramic sunroof. The XUV 3XO also features a floating infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster. It offers two petrol engine options: a 1.2-liter engine that generates 109 bhp of maximum power and 200 Nm of peak torque, and a 1.2-liter GDi petrol engine that delivers 129 bhp of power and 230 Nm of peak torque. Additionally, the 1.5-liter diesel engine provides a maximum power of 115 bhp and a peak torque of 300 Nm. The SUV includes a seven-speaker surround system with a nine-band equalizer, six airbags for safety, and ADAS Level 2. Other features include a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, and hill hold control.
Mahindra’s Diverse SUV Lineup and Manufacturing Boost
