OnePlus is preparing to launch its new Turbo series of smartphones in China later this week. The upcoming Turbo 6 model is designed with a strong focus on performance, confirmed by a recent teaser highlighting its advanced hardware.
The teaser reveals that the OnePlus Turbo 6 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, a high-end chip commonly found in premium budget flagships and gaming phones. The device is expected to feature a 165Hz refresh rate display, promising smooth and responsive visuals.
Along with the Snapdragon processor, the teaser also showcases the inclusion of OnePlus’s proprietary G1 WiFi chip and a Lingxi Display chip. These components are intended to enhance the device’s wireless connectivity and offer a more responsive touch experience on the screen.
OnePlus positions this model as a flagship-level gaming phone with ultra-smooth and immersive performance. Additional teaser details confirm a massive 9,000mAh battery, supporting 80W wired charging and 27W reverse wired charging, ensuring long usage and fast power top-up.
The Turbo 6 is set to debut in China on January 8, 2026. It will be available in four variants: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, 12GB RAM with 512GB storage, 16GB RAM with 256GB storage, and 16GB RAM with 512GB storage. The phone is expected to sport a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution.
For photography, the device is likely to feature a 50MP main rear camera paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens, while a 16MP front camera will handle selfies and video calls. More details are expected closer to the launch date.
