Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services falls despite reporting 87% rise in Q4 net profit

Mumbai : Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services is currently trading at Rs. 424.80, down by 8.40 points or 1.94% from its previous closing of Rs. 433.20 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 442.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 442.40 and Rs. 419.85 respectively. So far 321884 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 537.50 on 02-May-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 351.00 on 08-Oct-2018. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 442.40 and Rs. 408.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 26224.12 crore. The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.19%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 40.41% and 8.41% respectively.

The company has reported a rise of 87.02% in its net profit at Rs 587.97 crore for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2019 as compared to Rs 314.39 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 37.17% at Rs 2,479.54 crore for Q4FY19 as compared Rs 1,807.68 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2019, the company has reported a rise of 44.70% in its net profit at Rs 1,557.06 crore as compared to Rs 1,076.09 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 31.78% at Rs 8,809.81 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 6,685.20 crore for year ended March 31, 2018.
