Grand Festivities to Commence on February 26 Night
Udaipur, February 24 – The Shri Ekling Ji Trust, Udaipur, has announced that the Mahashivratri festival will be celebrated with great devotion and grandeur at the Shri Ekling Ji Temple in Kailashpuri on February 26, 2025 (Wednesday), starting at 10:00 PM. The sacred four-phase Mahapuja will continue uninterrupted throughout the night, concluding on February 27, 2025 (Thursday), between 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM.

Special Rituals and Offerings
The Mahashivratri Puja at Shri Ekling Ji Temple is known for its traditional and elaborate rituals, which include:
🔹 Four-phase Puja (Chaturprahar Pujan): The entire night will be devoted to worship, with each phase featuring a unique Shiva Abhishek and special Shringar.
🔹 Panchamrit Abhishek: Each phase of the puja will include 13 Rudri Path chants and the offering of 9.25 kg of each ingredient—milk, curd, ghee, honey, and sugar—totaling 46.25 kg per phase.
🔹 Rudrabhishek: A total of 52 Rudrabhisheks will be performed throughout the night.
🔹 Continuous Palace Band Performances: The palace band will play devotional tunes throughout all four phases of the worship.
Temple Darshan Timings for Devotees
🕙 Darshan will commence on February 26 at 10:00 PM and continue uninterrupted until the afternoon of February 27.
🕚 Devotees can have Mahashivratri darshan until 11:30 AM on February 27.
🕗 After 8:00 PM on February 27, regular temple darshan will resume.
