Light Rain Likely in 17 Districts of Jharkhand on October 25

Ranchi, October 24 (Udaipur Kiran): The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light rainfall in 17 districts of Jharkhand on Saturday (October 25). The department shared this update on Friday.

According to the forecast, the districts likely to receive rain include East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Simdega, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Ranchi, Khunti, Gumla, Hazaribagh, Bokaro, Lohardaga, Koderma, Dhanbad, Palamu, Garhwa, Latehar, and Chatra. These areas may also experience moderate fog during the morning hours.

On October 26, light rain is expected in some western parts of the state, while southern, central, and northwestern districts could witness moderate fog in the morning.

The IMD further predicted that on October 27, parts of southern Jharkhand may receive light rain accompanied by thunder, with moderate fog likely in central and northwestern regions.

During the last 24 hours, the highest temperature in the state was recorded at 34.6°C in Daltonganj, while Latehar recorded the lowest at 18°C.

On Friday, the weather in Ranchi and nearby areas remained clear, with residents experiencing a slight morning chill. The maximum temperature was recorded at 30.7°C in Ranchi, 33.8°C in Jamshedpur, 34.6°C in Daltonganj, 31.5°C in Bokaro, and 34.4°C in Chaibasa.
