
Justice Shetty was rushed to the Mallya hospital where he has been kept in the intensive care unit (ICU). State Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy confirmed the incident and said that the Lokayukta is out of danger. He has been kept under observation and is being closely monitored. “A person stabbed the Lokayukta in Bengaluru, the accused has been taken into custody,” Karnataka Home Minister confirmed.
The accused has been identified as Tejas Sharma who is said to be have been involved in multiple cases which are under investigation. Police are reviewing the CCTV footage of the office.
As per reports, he was stabbed in his chest and stomach.
