ORLANDO, Nov 4: John Cena announced on WWE Raw that the John Cena Classic will commence on December 14 at the ESPN Wild World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida. This inaugural event will include Cody Rhodes as its first participant.
During the announcement, Cena revealed that the winner would receive a championship belt reminiscent of his previous spinner title. WWE Club Members will have the opportunity to vote on other participants for the Classic.
Cena’s announcement coincided with another episode of Raw scheduled to take place on the same night from Perth, Western Australia, following the Wrestlepoolza event on December 12.
Cena is slated to appear at the Survivor Series: WarGames event set for November 28 in Houston, Texas, as part of his return to WWE.
Cena expressed the significance of this Classic in a moment with Rhodes, stating, “There will be more invitees, including Wednesday night on NXT and at the Survivor Series.” This sets the stage for potential rivalries as the event approaches.
