Jaipur, September 2, 2025 (Kiran News) – Reliance Jio has achieved a significant milestone by connecting over 10 lakh premises in Rajasthan with its high-speed Fixed Wireless and Wireline broadband services, expanding both JioAirFiber and JioFiber offerings across the state.
According to the latest Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) subscriber report for July 2025, Reliance Jio has 3.63 lakh 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) subscribers in Rajasthan as of July 31, 2025, commanding a dominant market share of 75.6 percent in this segment. Its nearest competitor remains far behind with only 1.16 lakh subscribers. In addition, 6.52 lakh customers in Rajasthan are connected through JioFiber and UBR-based JioAirFiber services. With these figures, Jio’s total home broadband subscriber base in the state has reached 10.15 lakh.
Jio’s set-top box has played a pivotal role in driving home entertainment engagement, with Indian viewers on average spending over 5 hours daily—more than twice the global average. The Jio set-top box offers access to multiple OTT apps, live TV, gaming, and JioPC, a cloud-based virtual desktop, all delivered through JioAirFiber and JioFiber.
JioAirFiber and JioFiber services are now available in all 41 districts of Rajasthan, including towns, thousands of villages, and remote areas, thereby promoting digital inclusion across the state.
The rapid adoption of JioAirFiber, especially in rural Rajasthan, highlights the rising demand for reliable high-speed broadband internet in the region. JioAirFiber addresses last-mile connectivity challenges by providing a wireless broadband solution where traditional fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) deployments are difficult.
