Heavy shelling from across the border continued in Jammu, Kathua and Samba districts. The Pakistani force violated the ceasefire in the Kamal Koot area of Uri sector in Baramulla district. The ceasefire violations have resulted in 5 civilian fatalities and 40 others were injured.
Meanwhile, India summoned Pakistan’s Deputy High Commissioner Syed Haider Shah over the loss of life of a seven-month-old in ceasefire violation by Pakistan.
