iQoo has announced plans to launch a special anniversary edition of its flagship smartphone iQoo 12 in India. This move comes as the company enters its fourth year in the Indian market.
In an open letter posted on social media, iQoo India CEO Nippon Maria confirmed the upcoming launch of the iQoo 12 Anniversary Edition. Mallya did not provide details on how the Anniversary Edition differs from the standard iQoo 12 model, but industry experts say the special edition may offer unique color options. We speculate that it could be similar to “Burning” in red. The Way version is available in China.

Launched in India in December 2023, the vanilla iQoo 12 offers impressive specifications. It is a 3rd generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 chipset paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone features a 6.78-inch Quad HD LTPO AMOLED display with a frequency of 144 Hz and runs on FuntouchOS 14 based on Android 14.
The iQoo 12’s camera setup includes a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64-megapixel telephoto periscope camera with 3x optical zoom. This phone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging.
In addition to the launch of the Anniversary Edition, iQoo has hinted at offers and deals on various smartphones from the company in the coming weeks. These promotions are available on Amazon and iQoo India website.
