According to a report by Gizmochina, the Infinix Zero 40 5G is set to launch on August 29. The report does not mention the expected price, but it is said to be a mid-range product, similar to the previous versions. The chipset is expected to be the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate 5G and will be paired with up to 24GB of dynamic RAM, including 12GB of virtual RAM. The phone is expected to feature an Android 14-based UI, with an upgrade to Android 16 and three years of security updates.
Optically, the Infinix Zero 40 5G has a 120-degree 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 180-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). The front camera of this phone may also come with a 50-megapixel sensor. All cameras are designed to support 4K video recording. It is said to feature a “GoPro Mode” that will allow users to view footage from paired GoPro devices directly on their phone.
