The country has made remarkable progress in economic, technological, infrastructure, and global diplomacy sectors over the last 12 years. It has solidified its identity as the fifth-largest economy and set new benchmarks in digital transformation.
The government has emphasized the development of roads, railways, airports, and ports through various initiatives. Projects like Vande Bharat trains, expressways, and modern airports have revitalized the country’s transport network. Meanwhile, the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) has revolutionized the digital payment system.
In the space sector, India showcased its scientific capabilities with the successful lunar landing of Chandrayaan-3 and the Aditya-L1 mission. There has also been a focus on enhancing self-reliance in defense and manufacturing indigenous military equipment.
On the foreign policy front, India has strengthened its global role. Successful G20 presidency, advocating for the Global South, and active participation in various international forums have bolstered India’s diplomatic credibility.
