India AI Impact Summit 2026 Kicks Off with PM Modis Remarks

New Delhi, February 16: The four-day ‘India AI Impact Summit 2026’ is set to commence on Monday in New Delhi, featuring participation from global leaders in the field. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed pride in the event, highlighting the potential of India’s youth.

In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, PM Modi stated, “It is a matter of great pride for us that people from around the world are coming to India for the ‘India AI Impact Summit 2026’. This showcases the capabilities of our youth and serves as evidence of our country’s rapid progress in science and technology, contributing significantly to global development.”

The Prime Minister also shared a cultural quote, saying, “Dane tapas shaucham cha vigyanam vinaye naye. Vismayo na hi kartavyo bahuratna vasundhara.” This quote emphasizes that in the realms of charity, austerity, valor, science, humility, and leadership, one can always find exemplary instances, as the earth is filled with numerous invaluable gems. Therefore, one should not be astonished by the continuous innovations in science and technology.

PM Modi will inaugurate the ‘India AI Impact Summit 2026’ at India Mandapam in Delhi at 5 PM on Monday. The summit will run from February 16 to 20.

The ‘India AI Impact Summit 2026’ is the first global artificial intelligence summit to be held in a developing country, involving over 100 nations through seven working groups. It reflects extensive global participation aimed at shaping responsible and inclusive AI. The summit is based on three principles: ‘People, Planet, and Progress’, which define the foundational tenets for global collaboration on AI.
