Mumbai, October 24 (Udaipur Kiran): Shares of Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) gained around 0.5% in Thursday’s trading session after the FMCG giant reported a 4% rise in its consolidated net profit for the second quarter ended September 30, 2025.

The stock was trading at ₹2,605.25, up ₹12.95 or 0.50%, from its previous close of ₹2,592.30 on the BSE. During the session, it opened at ₹2,592.50 and touched an intraday high of ₹2,667.55 and a low of ₹2,592.50. A total of 1,64,076 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group ‘A’ stock with a face value of ₹1 has registered a 52-week high of ₹2,779.70 (September 4, 2025) and a 52-week low of ₹2,136.00 (March 4, 2025). HUL’s market capitalisation currently stands at ₹6,11,504.62 crore.
In terms of shareholding, promoters hold 61.90%, while institutions and non-institutions hold 26.48% and 11.62%, respectively.
For Q2FY26, Hindustan Unilever reported a 2.99% increase in standalone net profit at ₹2,690 crore, compared to ₹2,612 crore in the same quarter last year. However, the company’s total income saw a marginal decline of 0.03%, coming in at ₹15,813 crore compared to ₹15,817 crore a year ago.
On a consolidated basis, HUL’s net profit rose 3.63% to ₹2,685 crore from ₹2,591 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The company’s total income grew 1.51% to ₹16,388 crore for the quarter, up from ₹16,145 crore in Q2FY25.
