Hero MotoCorp surges as its Haridwar facility achieve 25 million units production in 11 years

Hero MotoCorp is currently trading at Rs. 2732.05, up by 26.80 points or 0.99% from its previous closing of Rs. 2705.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2706.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2757.80 and Rs. 2706.00 respectively. So far 17204 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3382.70 on 20-Dec-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2228.25 on 31-Jul-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2757.80 and Rs. 2657.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 54675.07 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.63%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 55.64% and 9.73% respectively.

Hero MotoCorp has crossed yet another milestone, with its manufacturing facility at Haridwar, in the northern Indian hill state of Uttarakhand achieving the unique distinction of surpassing 25 million units in cumulative production.

The Haridwar facility of Hero MotoCorp is also the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturing plant with an installed capacity to produce 9500 vehicles per day.
