Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced that over 150,000 people have been provided government jobs during the last 10 years of BJP rule. He stated that some recruitment processes are still ongoing, but their results will be declared after the upcoming elections due to the Model Code of Conduct.
On Monday, CM Saini emphasized that the BJP fulfills its promises. Speaking at the inauguration of the state election office in Rohtak, he highlighted that the BJP-led government has made several public welfare decisions during its 10-year tenure. He criticized the previous Congress government, stating that while Congress failed to deliver on its promises, BJP has consistently met its commitments.
The BJP is aiming for a third consecutive term in the Haryana Assembly, with elections scheduled for October 1 and results expected on October 4. CM Saini expressed confidence that the people of Haryana have decided to bring BJP back to power.
150,000 Jobs in 10 Years
Saini claimed that during the BJP’s rule, over 150,000 individuals were provided government jobs. He alleged that under Congress, job distribution was biased, leading to a loss of trust among the youth. In contrast, the BJP government has ensured recruitment based on merit, allowing individuals from poor families to secure jobs. Saini mentioned that while some recruitments are still in progress, their results will be declared post-election due to the Model Code of Conduct.
Initiatives for the Poor
The Chief Minister also mentioned the government’s decision under the Prime Minister Ujjwala Yojana to provide LPG cylinders at ₹500 for beneficiary families. He pointed out that the opposition is worried about this decision. “This is not just a promise; our government has implemented it,” Saini said.
Land Allotment for the Poor
Saini accused the Congress of offering “lollipops” by promising 100 square yard plots to the poor but failing to deliver on these promises. He stated that the BJP government provided these lands and their legal documents to the rightful beneficiaries. Saini assured that after the elections, plots will be allotted to those who have registered but have not yet received land.
MSP and Farmers’ Welfare
CM Saini highlighted his government’s efforts for farmers, mentioning the decision to provide ₹2,000 per acre compensation to farmers affected by low rainfall. He also pointed out that the government is purchasing 14 crops at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) and plans to extend MSP to more crops. Saini reiterated that the BJP government works for all sections of society and warned against the opposition’s attempts to mislead the public.
Saini urged BJP workers to reach out to every household and inform people about the work done by the BJP government for various sections of society during its tenure.
