Shri Shyam Mahotsav: A First-Ever Grand Celebration in Udaipur

The Shri Khatu Shyam Mitra Mandal Trust is hosting this first-ever grand-scale bhajan sandhya and Shyam Mahotsav in Udaipur, including the inaugural Nishan Yatra. Trustees of the Mandal, including Rajesh Goyal and Suresh Agrawal, performed the traditional ‘nekchar’ ritual at the feet of Ganpati Ji in the Bohra Ganeshji Temple, inviting the deity as the first official guest of the ‘Keertan Ki Raat’.

Promotional items such as banners, stickers, folders, invitation letters, and digital campaign content were unveiled in the presence of several trustees and Shyam devotees.

A Modern Twist to Traditional Devotion

Going beyond traditional word-of-mouth, the Trust has launched a hi-tech outreach campaign. Devotees across India are being invited via emails, e-cards, WhatsApp messages, SMS, and both electronic and print media.

The Mandal has also taken an inclusive spiritual approach, first extending invitations to various revered temples and deities across Mewar and Madhya Pradesh, including:

  • Khatu Shyam Ji, Khatu Dham

  • Shri Pashupatinath, Mandsaur

  • Sanwaliya Seth, Chittorgarh

  • Charbhuja Nath, Rajsamand

  • Ekling Nath Ji, Udaipur

  • Shri Nathdwara Ji

  • Keshariya Ji, Pali

  • Tripura Sundari Mata, Banswara

  • Amba Mata Ji, Udaipur

  • Sagasji Bawaji, Mahasati Mata, Avari Mata, Dwarkadhish Ji, among others

This spiritual diplomacy ensures that the blessings of all regional deities guide and grace the Shri Shyam Mahotsav.

Free Entry and Open Participation

The Mandal emphasized that the entire three-day event is free of cost and open to the public. No invitations or passes are required for entry, reflecting the inclusive spirit of devotion that Shri Shyam Mahotsav embodies.

With preparations in full swing and spiritual fervor at its peak, Shri Shyam Mahotsav 2025 promises to be a divine celebration uniting devotees through music, bhakti, and tradition, all enhanced with modern communication tools.
