Google Pixel 9a Launched Globally: Check If It’s Available in Your Country

Google has officially launched the Pixel 9a in 32 countries, making it the widest global rollout of any Pixel A-series device to date. Unlike previous A-series launches, which typically coincided with the Google I/O event in May, the Pixel 9a arrives early in March 2025. This aligns with the early release of the Pixel 9 series, giving consumers quicker access to Google’s latest mid-range smartphone.

Google Pixel 9a: Key Features and Price

The Pixel 9a is powered by Google’s Tensor G4 chipset, offering 8GB RAM and a choice of 128GB or 256GB storage. It features a 5,100mAh battery, a dual-camera setup with 48MP + 13MP sensors, and Android 15 out of the box. Apart from hardware improvements, Google has also refined the design of the Pixel 9a, making it more appealing to a broader audience. With better performance, longer battery life, and software support for seven years, it’s becoming a preferred choice among Pixel fans and Android enthusiasts alike.

Pixel 9a: Global Availability

This year, Google has significantly expanded Pixel 9a’s availability compared to the Pixel 8a, which was limited to 23 countries. The Pixel 9a is now available in 32 countries, according to Google’s support page. This expansion aligns with Google’s strategy of making its devices more accessible to a wider global audience.

While Google’s official online store is available in most of these regions, some customers may need to rely on local retailers or carriers to purchase the device. Additionally, certain color variants and storage options may not be available in every country.

One notable omission is Puerto Rico, which, despite being part of the U.S., is not included in the official availability list.
