The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold is scheduled to release on August 13th alongside the Pixel 9 series. This new phone will be launched in India on August 14th. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold will be Google’s first foldable smartphone to launch in India, but the Pixel Fold was not launched in India last year. Ahead of the official unveiling, the display, dimensions and other specifications of the foldable smartphone have apparently been leaked. Additionally, it is speculated that the price will be similar to that of the previous model.

In a report by 91Mobiles, marketing materials for the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold have been leaked, revealing various specifications of the smartphone. There is speculation that the display will be enlarged. Designed with a 6.3″ Actua Cover display with rounded corners and an 8″ Super Actua main display.
The foldable smartphone is said to be equipped with Google’s Titan M2 security chip and an integrated VPN. Being a Pixel, it also has artificial intelligence (AI) features, with leaks pointing to existing features like Circle to Search, Magic Editor and Best Take. There may also be a new “Add Me” feature that uses artificial intelligence to add itself to group photos.
Like other Pixel smartphones, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold’s retail box includes the handset, USB Type-C cable and SIM ejector tool, but not the charger. However, the leak does not mention the Quick Switch adapter that Google will ship with the smartphone.
According to Android Headlines, the phone is expected to measure 155.2 x 150.2 x 5.1mm when folded and 155.2 x 77.1 x 10.5mm when unfolded. This makes it not only thinner than its predecessor, but also the recently announced Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6. In addition, the smartphone is lighter than the Pixel Fold, but at 257 grams it is likely to be a little heavier in the foldable smartphone market.
Price of the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold (estimated)
According to 91Mobiles, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold could be available in 256GB and 512GB storage variants. These configurations are priced at $1,799 (approximately Rs. 151,000) and $1,919 (approximately Rs. 161,000) respectively. If this is true, the device will be priced on par with its predecessor.
