Google typically releases its Pixel products in October every year. There’s still a long way to go before the phone launches, but live images have leaked that give us a glimpse of the design of the Pixel 9 series.
Hands-on images of the Google Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL show rounded corners and a pill-shaped camera strip on the back. The Pixel 9 series is said to have an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The Pixel 9 is said to come with a 12GB + 128GB RAM and storage configuration, while the Pro model could come in a 16GB + 128GB configuration. There will be four models of the Pixel 9 series.
Russian website Rozetked has shared live images and specifications of the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL. The set does not feature a clip-style camera module, but rather a pill-shaped strip. It has rounded corners and a flat back. Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro are similar in size.
The Pro version appears to have a matte finish on the back and a glossy frame, while the Pixel 9 has a glossy back and a matte finish on the frame. The leak also includes comparison images with previous Pixel devices and iPhone 15 models.
According to the leak, the Pixel 9 could come in a 12GB + 128GB RAM and storage configuration, while the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL could come in a 16GB + 128GB configuration.
The vanilla model is said to have a 6.24-inch display, while the Pro and XL models may have 6.24-inch and 6.73-inch displays, respectively. All three models are expected to feature AMOLED displays with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and are expected to be powered by Google’s Tensor G4 chip.
The Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro are said to be the same size, but the former could have larger bezels. These phones are expected to feature three 50-megapixel cameras on the back and support ultra-wide technology. On the other hand, the Pixel 9 could come with two rear cameras.
The publication also claims that this year’s Pixel lineup will include four models: Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Fold.
