UDAIPUR, January 30 (Udaipur Kiran): Sai Tirupati University, Umarda, Udaipur, organised a tribute programme on the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on January 30. The event witnessed the participation of several university students, including volunteers of the National Service Scheme (NSS).

The programme was held at the Nursing College campus of the university. Addressing the students, University President Dr Prashant Nahar spoke about the life of Mahatma Gandhi, his ideals, and his contributions to the nation. All NSS in-charges actively participated in the programme.
The event was conducted under the guidance of Nursing College in-charge Vikas Kumar Dadhich. As a mark of respect, a two-minute silence was observed in memory of Mahatma Gandhi and the nation’s martyrs. Students also presented essays and poems dedicated to Gandhiji and the country’s martyrs.
Details of the programme were shared by Deepak Teli, Programme Coordinator of the university’s NSS cell. The event concluded with a message highlighting national service and social responsibility.
