FMGE December 2025 Results Declared, Pass Percentage at 23.37%

Udaipur, 30 January (Udaipur Kiran): The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the results of the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) for the December 2025 session. The examination was conducted on 17 January 2026.

Education counsellor Vikas Chhajed said that a total of 43,933 candidates appeared for the examination, of whom 10,264 qualified, while 32,604 candidates did not clear the test. The results of four candidates have been withheld due to pending document verification, and 1,061 candidates were absent.

The overall pass percentage for the December 2025 session stood at 23.37 per cent. In comparison, the pass percentage in the June 2025 session was 18.61 per cent, indicating an improvement in results this time. Scorecards of successful candidates will be available on the official website from 6 February.

The FMGE is conducted for a total of 300 marks, with a minimum requirement of 150 marks to qualify. The examination enables Indian students who have completed their medical education abroad to become eligible to practise medicine in India. After qualifying the FMGE, candidates are also required to complete an internship in India.

Vikas Chhajed informed that several students from Udaipur have also successfully cleared the examination. These include Shubham Patidar, Hiranshi Shah, Yashvardhan Gaur, Rishi Baheti, Golden Singh Panwar, Sejal Badiwal, Vivek Prajapat and Rudraksh Acharya, among others. The students credited their success to the support of their families and mentor Dr Priyansh Jain.
