GAIL rises on launching CNG supply, CNG-run vehicles, D-PNG supply in Ranchi

GAIL India is currently trading at Rs. 124.80, up by 0.55 points or 0.44% from its previous closing of Rs. 124.45 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 128.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 128.00 and Rs. 123.30 respectively. So far 50487 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 197.40 on 28-Aug-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 119.65 on 23-Aug-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 131.05 and Rs. 119.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 56286.57 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 52.68%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 43.39% and 3.93% respectively.

GAIL India has launched supply of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), domestic Piped Natural Gas (D-PNG) and CNG-run vehicles in Ranchi in the state of Jharkhand. Over the coming year, 11 CNG stations will be commissioned in Ranchi by the company to supply CNG to over 75000 vehicles.

GAIL India is India’s principal Natural Gas Company with activities ranging from Gas Transmission and Marketing to Processing (for fractionating LPG, Propane, SBP Solvent and Pentane); transmission of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG); production and marketing of Petrochemicals like HDPE and LLDPE and leasing bandwidth in Telecommunications.
