Four including mother-son arrested for murdering head constable in Rajsamand

Udaipur : In a major breakthrough, Rajsamand police on Sunday, arrested four persons including a mother -son duo for assaulting an on-duty policeman which resulted in his death a day ago. Naina Devi, her son Nageshwar Singh,  his friends Mukesh and Lakshman Singh, residents of Padmela village have been arrested while two accused are at large. Abdul Gani a head constable posted at Bhim police station had on Saturday gone to Padmela village in Brar panchayat under Bhim sub block of the district in connection to investigation in a case of assault. 

” Gani had recorded the statements of few persons who were accused in the case and he was returning back to the police station on his bike. A woman involved in the case being investigated by Gani, named Naina Devi wife of Pyare Singh Rawat instigated her son Nageshwar Singh and his friends to attack the cop and snatch the documents from him because she feared they could be jailed after the investigation” LabhuRam Vishnoi told Udaipur Kiran. Nageshwar and his friends Lakshman Singh (20), Mukesh Singh (19) , Raju and Mitthu Singh attacked the head constable with iron rods and injured him badly.  The cop succumbed to injuries during treatment in Bhim civil hospital. The incident had come as a shock and caused much grief among the police department. The cops were clueless of the assailants however  rounding up of accused and putting them to thorough interrogation who were related to the investigation that was being done by Hand,  helped the authorities to nab the culprits in no time. Mitthu Singh and Raju Singh are at large and police teams have been sent to find them.
