Finally, You Can Clean Up Your Disney+ Watchlist
Disney+ has officially started rolling out a long-awaited feature: the ability to remove titles from the “Continue Watching” row. For users who have long been frustrated by half-watched movies or abandoned series cluttering up their homepage, this update brings much-needed flexibility to the streaming experience.

The update is now available across web, iOS, and Apple TV apps, with support for Android and Google TV platforms expected in the coming weeks, according to Disney.
How It Works
Disney+ now offers two simple ways to remove content from your “Continue Watching” list:
Option 1: On the main screen, press and hold the title using your remote or touch interface, then select Remove.
Option 2: Navigate to the content’s Details page, then locate and select the Remove icon on the right side of the screen.
Importantly, removing a title does not erase your watch progress. This means you can pick up right where you left off later, even if the title no longer appears in your “Continue Watching” carousel.
Gradual Rollout Across Devices
While the feature is live for many users today, the rollout is being done in phases. Android, Google TV, and additional platforms will receive the update “in the coming weeks.” Disney has not provided a precise timeline but confirmed the wider expansion is underway.
This new feature brings Disney+ more in line with competitors like Netflix and HBO Max, which have long offered similar watchlist management tools. As the streaming wars continue, user-friendly features like this are key to keeping subscribers engaged.
