
Aurangabad/Mumbai : Covid-19 pandemic situation is worsening day by day across Maharashtra with 44,388 new positive cases being registered on Sunday, said a health bulletin released tonight.
With the addition of these new cases, the state’s cumulative case tally has surged to 69,20,044 and the death toll has climbed to 1,41,639.
Meanwhile, 15,351 cured patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall recovery count to 65,72,432.
The state’s recovery rate significantly came down to 94.98 per cent and fatality rate stands at 2.04 per cent.
Presently, 2,02,259 active patients are undergoing treatment at different hospitals, the bulletin added.
