Kolkata, December 24: As West Bengal continues to experience the winter chill, the weather is expected to remain partially cloudy in several districts, including Kolkata, on Christmas Day. According to the Meteorological Department, light morning haze is likely, but there is no forecast of rainfall.

Kolkata is expected to see a maximum temperature of 25°C and a minimum temperature of 17°C, with humidity levels recorded at 93% (maximum) and 32% (minimum) over the past 24 hours. No rainfall has been recorded during this period.

  • Darjeeling and Alipurduar:
    Northern districts like Darjeeling and Alipurduar continue to experience significant cold. Darjeeling is expected to record a maximum temperature of 16°C and a minimum of 7°C, while Alipurduar may see light haze with temperatures ranging between 26°C (maximum) and 10°C (minimum).
  • Asansol and Bardhaman:
    Morning chill will persist in these regions, with Asansol and Bardhaman expected to record a maximum temperature of 27°C and a minimum of 13°C.

Weather in South Bengal

Southern districts, including Howrah, Hooghly, and South 24 Parganas, are also likely to experience partly cloudy skies. The maximum temperature in these regions is predicted to hover around 27-28°C, while the minimum could range between 15-17°C.
