Udaipur (Kiran News) – Citroën India has announced a strategic partnership with HDFC Bank, India’s largest private sector bank, to provide comprehensive retail and dealer finance solutions. This collaboration aims to simplify vehicle ownership and increase financial accessibility for both customers and dealers. The move further strengthens the Stellantis–HDFC alliance, positioning HDFC Bank as the exclusive preferred financier for all Stellantis brands in India, including Jeep, Maserati, and Citroën.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Shishir Mishra, Business Head & Director – Strategic Partnerships & Institutional Business, Stellantis India, and Akhilesh Kumar Roy, Business Head – Auto Loans, Inventory Finance and Two-Wheeler Loans, HDFC Bank, in the presence of senior executives from both organisations.
Through HDFC Bank’s extensive nationwide network and trusted track record as an automobile financier, the partnership offers Citroën customers enhanced convenience, competitive interest rates, and flexible repayment options. A key highlight is the HDFC Xpress Car Loan, which enables 30-minute disbursals via a fully digital process, eliminating physical paperwork and streamlining the car-buying experience. As of June 30, 2025, HDFC Bank’s Auto Loan portfolio stood at over Rs. 1.48 lakh crore.
Citroën dealer partners will also benefit from this collaboration through customised floor plan finance solutions to support their daily operations and growth. Dealers can access preferential terms, competitive rates, and a wide range of financial products tailored to their business needs, ensuring seamless working capital and inventory funding for improved operational efficiency.
