Chief Minister Employment Festival: Udaipur Witnesses Inauguration of Development Projects Worth ₹11715 Lakh

211 Newly Appointed Employees Honored in Udaipur District-Level Program

Udaipur, January 12 – On the occasion of National Youth Day, the Chief Minister Employment Festival was held across all districts of Rajasthan, including Jaipur, the state capital. During the event, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma symbolically handed over appointment letters to newly appointed government employees and interacted with the youth virtually. The district-level event in Udaipur was held at the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium, with Member of Parliament Dr. Manna Lal Rawat and Udaipur Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena presiding over the ceremony as chief guests.

In the state-level event held at Birla Auditorium, Jaipur, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma distributed appointment letters to thousands of newly selected candidates for various government departments. Alongside this, development projects worth ₹31,000 crore, comprising 76,000 projects, were inaugurated or laid down. The state-level program was broadcast live on LED screens in all district venues.

Rajasthan Progressing Rapidly: MP Dr. Rawat

Addressing the audience at the Udaipur district-level event, MP Dr. Rawat said, “Rajasthan is advancing rapidly.” He highlighted the success of the recently held Rising Rajasthan Investment Summit, which recorded historic MoUs worth ₹35 lakh crore. Dr. Rawat also invoked Swami Vivekananda’s teachings, emphasizing his role as a youth icon and quoting a European writer who once remarked that understanding Swami Vivekananda is essential to grasping the essence of India.

The MP further lauded the government’s efforts in taking strict action against those involved in paper leaks, stating that such actions are crucial to protecting the dreams of the youth. He assured that the state government remains committed to ensuring transparency and fairness in employment opportunities.

Appointment of 211 Candidates and Virtual Inauguration of Projects

During the event, 211 newly selected candidates were handed over their appointment letters by the dignitaries. These included:

  • 96 candidates from the Finance Department
  • 28 candidates from the Police Department
  • 74 candidates from the Health Department
  • 13 candidates from other departments

Additionally, the Chief Minister virtually inaugurated 199 development projects in Udaipur district under the Public Works Department, with a total budget of ₹11,715.52 lakh. These projects, announced in the state budget, are expected to significantly enhance infrastructure and public services in the region.
