The sprawling fairgrounds are now filled with long rows of camels and beautifully decorated tents for horses. Livestock owners have set up large shelters to protect their animals from the sun, and trading activities are picking up speed across the sandy plains.

In the first two days, camel arrivals have been the highest, with breeders from across India bringing their prized animals to Pushkar. Meanwhile, 66 horses and mares have arrived so far, 41 of which are from outside Rajasthan.

Traders from Punjab, Haryana, and other northern states have reached the fair with high-breed and well-built horses. Special tents and decorations have been arranged for the equine section. The Brahma Temple Management Committee has also adorned the temple premises with flowers and colorful lights, creating a festive atmosphere that dazzles as evening sets in. Tourists in large numbers are visiting to enjoy the fair’s spiritual and cultural vibrancy.

The rhythmic sounds of camel bells, the echo of horse hooves, mesmerizing sand art, and local folk music have brought the Pushkar Fair to life once again. To ensure smooth movement, the administration has implemented a one-way traffic system for five days. Animal registration checkpoints have been set up at all city entry points to maintain proper records of livestock arriving at the fair.

With the jingling of camel bells and the lively atmosphere of the dunes, Pushkar has once again become a hub of attraction for both domestic and foreign visitors.
