Lucknow, July 5: BJP National President Nitin Naveen has officially launched preparations for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, urging party MPs and MLAs to remain active among the public. He accused the opposition of indulging in caste politics and spreading confusion, asserting that the BJP’s ideology is “Nation First.” Naveen emphasized the need for party workers to communicate the government’s achievements directly to the people without getting caught in misleading narratives.
He claimed that the Yogi government has transformed Uttar Pradesh from a state plagued by mafia rule and chaos into a national model of law and order and good governance. Addressing a meeting of MPs and MLAs in Lucknow, attended by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other senior leaders, Naveen stated that Uttar Pradesh and Bihar were once synonymous with chaos, corruption, and caste politics, but the BJP governments have completely changed this image.
Naveen highlighted that the Yogi government has established the rule of law by dismantling parallel power structures associated with mafia and musclemen, a topic of discussion across the country. He criticized the opposition for lacking a development agenda and attempting to divide society through caste equations and confusion, while the BJP focuses on unifying politics.
He urged MPs and MLAs to engage with people at the grassroots level, rather than limiting themselves to their offices, to enhance communication with beneficiaries of government schemes. Naveen noted that millions are directly connected to BJP governments, but if this support is not translating into votes, it indicates a need for improved dialogue. The next seven to eight months will be crucial for the organization and representatives, and if all workers mobilize effectively, the BJP is poised to win a decisive majority in Uttar Pradesh in 2027.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stressed the importance of ramping up preparations at the booth level for the upcoming elections. He stated that the next six months would be vital for public outreach and disseminating the government’s achievements to every village. Adityanath pointed out that the opposition is unable to compete on development issues and resorts to spreading confusion. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India has gained a new global identity, and over nine lakh youths have secured government jobs in Uttar Pradesh through a transparent recruitment process.
He called on MPs and MLAs to strengthen connections with selected youths and their families, as they are the best evidence of the government’s transparent functioning. State BJP President Pankaj Chaudhary remarked that this visit by the National President marks the beginning of the organizational campaign for the 2027 Assembly elections, urging workers and representatives to convey the electoral message down to the booth level and share the achievements of both the central and state governments with every voter.
