BJP Claims Victory in Bengal Elections Under Modis Leadership

Kolkata, May 4: Ahead of the vote counting for the West Bengal Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has claimed it will form a government with a full majority in the state. BJP leader Agnimitra Paul stated that a new dawn is set to emerge in West Bengal under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Agnimitra Paul, the BJP candidate from Asansol South, expressed confidence that the party will secure a two-thirds majority with the support and blessings of the people of Bengal.

Speaking to the media before the counting began, Paul said, “With the blessings of the people of Bengal, the BJP is set to form the government. A new dawn is coming to Bengal. For the past 50 years, other parties have pushed West Bengal backward. Now, under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, a new dawn is about to rise.”

He also noted that the Election Commission has made adequate security arrangements for the counting day, adding, “Throughout the elections, the Commission has fulfilled its responsibilities effectively. We thank the Election Commission.”

Dilip Ghosh, the BJP candidate from Kharagpur Sadar, also claimed victory, stating, “The elections are just a signal. The direction is clear, and we hope the results will exceed expectations. The final results will be even better than what the surveys predicted.”

Swapan Das, the BJP candidate from the Shantipur Assembly constituency, remarked, “What we are thinking will be 100 percent true, and victory is certain.”

Meanwhile, BJP MP Jyotirmay Singh Mahato targeted TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee, saying, “If a cockroach starts to think of itself as a bird, it is a big mistake. Similarly, Abhishek Banerjee thinks of himself as a big leader. After the results, don’t flee Bengal; that’s all I want to say.”
