Thick Fog Engulfs Bihar, IMD Issues Warning

On Monday morning, the Patna Meteorological Center issued an immediate fog alert for parts of North Bihar and Seemanchal. The IMD has predicted that dense fog will persist in these regions, causing poor visibility and traffic disruptions. The authorities have advised people, especially vehicle drivers, to exercise extreme caution while commuting.

Temperature to Rise Gradually, Light Rain Expected Next Week

According to Dr. A. Sattar, a meteorologist at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, Pusa, Bihar will witness a gradual rise in temperature over the coming days. The cold wave is expected to ease further, bringing relief from the winter chill. However, light rainfall is anticipated next week, which may lead to a slight drop in temperature again.

Farmers Concerned Over Rising Temperatures

As the winter season comes to an end, significant changes in weather patterns are becoming evident. The rising temperature has become a cause of concern for wheat farmers, as prolonged cold is essential for better crop yield. The fluctuating temperatures and foggy conditions may also impact agricultural activities in the state.

The IMD has forecast that dense fog will continue in parts of Bihar until February 4, causing poor visibility on roads. Drivers and commuters have been advised to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions while traveling in foggy conditions.
