Bharti Airtel is expected to lose 5-7 crore customers as it ends its ‘lifetime free incoming’ plan and asks customers to spend minimum of Rs 35 per month to keep their numbers active on Airtel. The company is not worried about the loss and is looking to generate more average revenue per user (ARPU) as many SIMs under that plan were not being used.
Bharti Airtel is a leading integrated telecommunications company with operations across Asia and Africa.
