New Delhi, May 13: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has officially announced the recruitment of seven Assistant Security Officer (ASO) positions in Grade E-I. The notification was released on Wednesday, inviting eligible candidates to apply. The vacancies include 2 for Unreserved (UR), 3 for Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL), 1 for Scheduled Caste (SC), and 1 for Scheduled Tribe (ST).
The online application process for the Assistant Security Officer positions commenced on May 13, with the last date for submission set for June 2. Candidates wishing to apply can submit their registration forms on the official BEL website within the specified timeframe.
Applicants must possess a graduation degree in any discipline from a government-recognized institution or university. Additionally, candidates are required to have served in the army, navy, air force, or central paramilitary organizations at the Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) level.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 40 years, calculated as of May 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on shortlisting through qualifications and experience, followed by a written examination, interview, and document verification. The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹30,000 to ₹1,20,000. It is important to note that the written examination and interview will only take place in Bengaluru.
