Axis Bank Shares Jump Over 5% on Q3 Results

Mumbai, January 27, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): Shares of Axis Bank surged on the BSE on Tuesday after the bank reported a rise in its net profit for the third quarter ended December 31, 2025. The stock was trading at ₹1,327.80, up by ₹67.70 or 5.37 per cent from its previous close of ₹1,260.10.

The scrip opened at ₹1,286.10 and moved between a high of ₹1,333.50 and a low of ₹1,279.95 during the session. So far, 5,47,592 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE Group ‘A’ stock, with a face value of ₹2, touched its 52-week high of ₹1,333.50 on January 27, 2026, while the 52-week low of ₹934.00 was recorded on January 27, 2025. Over the past week, the stock traded between a high of ₹1,333.50 and a low of ₹1,248.95. The bank’s current market capitalisation stands at ₹4,12,858.64 crore.

Promoter holding in the bank stood at 8.15 per cent, while institutional investors and non-institutional investors held 85.22 per cent and 6.63 per cent respectively.

Axis Bank reported a 2.95 per cent increase in standalone net profit at ₹6,489.57 crore for Q3FY26, compared to ₹6,303.77 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. The bank’s total income rose by 4.26 per cent to ₹38,500.06 crore during the quarter, as against ₹36,926.14 crore a year ago.

On a consolidated basis, the bank posted a 3.98 per cent rise in net profit at ₹7,010.65 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, compared to ₹6,742.29 crore in the corresponding period last year. Total consolidated income increased by 4.98 per cent to ₹40,898.41 crore in Q3FY26, from ₹38,959.17 crore in the year-ago quarter.
