Australia Sets 410-Run Target Against India in Thrilling ODI

Hobart, March 1: The Australian cricket team has set a daunting target of 410 runs for India in the third ODI at the Ninja Cricket Stadium in Hobart, thanks to captain Alyssa Healy and wicketkeeper-batter Beth Mooney, who both scored centuries.

In her final ODI, Healy showcased exceptional batting skills. After taking her time at the start, she reached her half-century off 49 balls, before shifting gears and completing her eighth ODI century off 79 balls. Even after reaching the milestone, she continued to dominate the Indian bowlers.

Healy played a spectacular innings of 158 runs off 98 balls, hitting 2 sixes and 27 fours before being bowled by Sneh Rana. This thrilling performance will be remembered by cricket fans for years to come.

Joining her in the spotlight, Mooney, batting at number four, also scored a century, remaining unbeaten on 106 runs off 84 balls, with 10 fours and 1 six.

The pair shared a remarkable partnership of 145 runs for the third wicket. Georgia Wareham contributed with 62 runs off 52 balls, while Nicola Carey added 34 runs off 15 balls.

Australia finished their innings at 409 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. India’s decision to bowl first after winning the toss backfired, as their bowlers struggled to make an impact. Ananya Choudhary conceded 106 runs in 10 overs while taking 2 wickets. Kashvi Gautam gave away 83 runs for 1 wicket, Deepti Sharma 90 runs for 1 wicket, Sneh Rana 66 runs for 2 wickets, and Renuka Singh 64 runs for 1 wicket.

Having lost the first two matches of the series, India faces the threat of another defeat unless a miracle occurs in this match.
