Mumbai, March 5: Arjun Tendulkar, son of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, married entrepreneur Sania Chandok in a lavish ceremony held at The St. Regis Hotel in Mumbai on Thursday. The event was attended by numerous celebrities from the worlds of cricket, politics, and business.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis expressed his joy on social media platform X, stating, “I attended the wedding of Arjun and Sania in Mumbai today. It was a pleasure to be part of this special celebration and witness the beginning of this young couple’s journey. Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Sachin Tendulkar, his family, and the newlyweds. Wishing Arjun and Sania a wonderful married life ahead.”
Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also shared his thoughts on X, saying, “The wedding of Arjun, son of the cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar, and Sania took place at The St. Regis Hotel in Mumbai. I extended my heartfelt wishes to the couple by presenting them with a bouquet of flowers. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was also present at the event.”
Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray congratulated the couple, saying, “Heartfelt congratulations to Sania and Arjun! Wishing them a beautiful journey together ahead.”
Arjun and Sania got engaged privately in August 2025, with wedding preparations starting in early March 2026. Arjun, like his father, is a cricketer who plays domestic cricket for Goa and has recently joined the Lucknow Super Giants ahead of the next IPL season after previously playing for the Mumbai Indians.
Sania, an entrepreneur from Mumbai, hails from a prominent business family and is the granddaughter of industrialist Ravi Ghai, chairman of the Gravis Group. She has built her career in pet care and animal welfare, working as a veterinary technician and entrepreneur.
