Mumbai, January 9: (Udaipur Kiran). Shares of Arihant Foundations & Housing Ltd surged on Friday after its jointly owned limited liability partnership executed an agreement to purchase land in Chennai.
The stock was trading at ₹1,211.60 on the BSE, up ₹41.75 or 3.57 percent from its previous close of ₹1,169.85. It opened at ₹1,188.95 and touched an intraday high of ₹1,228.00 and a low of ₹1,159.00. A total of 5,098 shares were traded during the session.
The BSE Group ‘B’ stock, with a face value of ₹10, has touched a 52-week high of ₹1,513.40 on June 16, 2025, and a 52-week low of ₹622.00 on March 6, 2025. Over the past one week, the scrip traded in the range of ₹1,127.65 to ₹1,228.00. The company’s current market capitalisation stands at ₹1,220.74 crore. Promoters hold a 37.29 percent stake, while institutional and non-institutional investors hold 1.84 percent and 60.87 percent respectively.
Arihant Foundations & Housing said its jointly owned LLP, Canopy Living LLP, has executed an Agreement to Sell (ATS) with Sundaram-Clayton for the purchase of freehold land measuring 16.381 acres, located at Korattur Village in Ambattur Taluk of Chennai district, Tamil Nadu. The transaction is expected to be completed on or before February 11, 2026.
As part of the agreement, an advance payment of ₹25 crore has been made, while the balance consideration of ₹535.67 crore will be paid at the time of execution of the sale deed. Canopy Living LLP is jointly owned by Arihant Foundations & Housing and Prestige Estates Projects.
