Udaipur, November 8 (Udaipur Kiran): The Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI) successfully conducted its Foundation & Skills Course for postgraduate students in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Pacific Dental College & Hospital, Debari, Udaipur, on November 5 and 6, 2025. The two-day program was designed to enhance clinical knowledge, surgical competence, and peri-operative skills among young professionals entering the field.

Organized under the guidance of Principal Dr. Bhagavan Das Rai, the course witnessed enthusiastic participation from 80 postgraduate students representing Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan.
Expert Faculty and Course Structure
The academic sessions were led by a distinguished panel of experts, including Dr. Krishnamurthy Bonanthaya and Dr. Aditya Moorthy (Bengaluru), Dr. Preeti Jain (Jabalpur), Dr. Alka Chhabra (Geetanjali Medical College, Udaipur), Dr. Sonal Anchlia (Ahmedabad), Dr. Rama Raju (AIIMS Nagpur), Dr. Shallu Bansal, Dr. Prashant, and Dr. Anjaneya Dube.
The comprehensive training covered essential topics such as systemic examination, imaging interpretation, hematology, endocrine and neurological evaluation, postoperative care, and emergency management. The program also integrated group discussions, case-based learning, and hands-on workshops, offering students practical exposure to real-world surgical challenges.
