Chittorgarh, March 20, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): On the occasion of Rajasthan Day, Anil Agarwal, Chairman of Vedanta Group, extended his heartfelt greetings to the people of the state through a social media message reflecting traditional values and the sweetness of the Rajasthani language.

Beginning his message with the lines “Mharo Rajasthan, ret mein bhi himmat ke phool khilave…”, he paid tribute to the courage, hard work and resilience of the people of Rajasthan.
In his message, Agarwal highlighted that the land of Rajasthan has faced harsh natural conditions for centuries, including intense heat, drifting sand and low rainfall. Despite these challenges, the people of the state have transformed every difficulty into an opportunity, creating a distinct identity. He described Rajasthan as a symbol of struggle, confidence and continuous progress.
Referring to the state’s rich natural resources, he noted that Rajasthan is abundant in zinc, silver, copper, potash, phosphate, oil and gas. He emphasised the need to adopt a forward-looking development approach by utilising not only surface resources but also those beneath the earth effectively.
Highlighting Rajasthan’s global recognition in tourism, he mentioned Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur and Jaisalmer as leading travel and wedding destinations. He also appreciated the state’s cultural and economic contributions through traditional products such as dal-baati-choorma, bandhani, block prints, handicrafts, marble and textiles.
Agarwal expressed confidence that amid global challenges, Rajasthan has the potential to emerge as a strong economic hub and play a significant role in making India self-reliant. He concluded by stating that Vedanta Group will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with the people, youth and the government of Rajasthan in the state’s development journey.
